Where the spirit meets the bones

Where the spirit meets the bones is a euphoric celebration of “life”, of our existence, of our earth’s existence and of all the cosmos. Drawing inspiration from Irish Folklore, vibrant photographs are layered onto each other, with specks of sunlight breaking through, mimicking what it might look like as we transition our consciousness from this world to the next one. Photographs of flowers rooted in the ground where our bones will go contrast soaring trees reaching into the sky where our spirit will go, does creating a visualization of where the spirit meets the bones, of life. Nature is viewed as a god in this project, as the higher power guiding us through our life and through to the next one, the forest holds our secrets, it holds our past and all our mythical tales. A source of inspiration and calmness for so many, it has been where we belong since the beginning of time, as time continues we seem to have forgotten that, this project hopes to remind us that we are all apart of nature and we can always return to it.
