I, a stranger, and afraid, in a world I never made
"I, a stranger and afraid, in a world I never made" is a photo project exploring existential questioning. Heavily inspired by the teachings of Alan Watts. It explores the consistency and harmony of nature all over the world, something humans have seem to have lost touch with. I have paired my photographs from separate parts of the world and overlayed them into one. Creating a familiar yet unfamiliar image. The nature within them is so familiar but they are not quite natural. These images explore the human condition. How disconnected we are from nature although we are a part of it, nature is connected all over the world but we have become disconnected. These photos serve as a reminder of where we come from and where we will go. It looks at the possibility of other worlds existing, parrel universes that are similar but different from ours, perhaps a world where we go to when we are finished in this one. These images are reflective, you see yourself within them, to remind you that you are a part of this, you are nature.
