Chrysalis Wakings

In the midst of profound personal change, I find myself navigating the delicate balance between longing for the familiar and embracing the unknown, in a land adorned with butterflies embracing their current state. This photographic series captures my journey through this transformative period, using the natural world as both a canvas and a mirror to reflect my internal landscapes. Far from the comfort of home, where every road is etched into my memory and the air carries the scent of familiarity, I am learning to find beauty and meaning in the transient and the unfamiliar. Like butterflies emerging from their chrysalises, these images capture the essence of transformation—a delicate, yet powerful process. I am reminded to slow down, to appreciate the simplicity of grass and flowers, and to listen to the echoes of my past self. There is the restless pull of the stars and the noise of the world, urging me to find stillness and clarity amidst the chaos and noise. Through this project, I invite viewers to step into my world of evolving realities. To see the beauty in change, to recognise the cycles of growth and decay, and to feel the silent eloquence of nature's symphony.
